VENSULP TRIM-TM

(Sulphachloropyridazine 10% + Trimethoprim 2%)

It is a combination of Sulfachloropyridazine and Trimethoprim which has bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects.

• This combination increases bactericidal activity by 5 times more than individual components.

• It has the ability to reduce the chance of developing resistance.

• No adverse effect on preformed folate which has to be utilized by the host.

Composition:

Water soluble powder.

Each gram contains:

Sulphachloropyridazine sodium     

equivalent to Sulphachloropyridazine        100 mg

Trimethoprim       20 mg

Mode of Action:

VENSULP TRIM is a competitive antagonist of para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA),

a precursor of folic acid in bacteria.

It inhibits folic acid synthesis in bacteria.

Indications:

For the treatment of Colibacillosis, Paratyphoid infection, Fowl cholera and Infectious coryza in poultry.

Administration & Dosage:

200 mg of VENSULP TRIM per kg body weight through drinking water for 3-6 days.

Withdrawal Period:

Meat: 4 days, Eggs : 7 days
